About Maggie

Hi, I’m Maggie — the person behind the camera at Maggie P Photography.

Photography has been part of my life since 2014, and over the years it has grown from something I loved doing into a little business that I’m incredibly proud to call my own.

For me, photography has never been about creating the “perfect” picture. It’s about capturing your people exactly as they are — the laughs that happen between poses, tiny newborn fingers, the excitement of turning one, a growing baby bump, the confidence you didn’t know you had, and those wonderfully chaotic family moments that often end up becoming my favorite photographs.

I know that being in front of a camera can feel awkward (trust me, I get it!), which is why I like my sessions to feel relaxed, comfortable and fun. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I’ll also give you space to simply be yourselves. You don't need to know how to pose or worry about your children behaving perfectly — real life is welcome here.

My little studio is based in Edenvale, Gauteng, and I also photograph outdoor sessions around Gauteng. I specialize in Family, Maternity, Newborn, Cake Smash, Portrait and Matric Farewell photography. Behind the business, I’m a homebody, dog mom, coffee drinker, gamer, occasional baker and someone who will probably get just as excited about your photographs as you do. 😂 Photography has allowed me to meet so many different people and be invited into some incredibly special chapters of their lives — something I never take for granted.

Whether I’m photographing a brand-new little person, a family that hasn’t had photographs together in years, or someone simply wanting to feel beautiful in front of the camera, my goal is always the same:
